Art Deco Christmas Poster of Rudolph By Lasse Voss

Where is Rudolph?

There’s something about the forest at night that feels endless - like every shadow and flicker of light has its own little story. That’s where this poster began. I wanted to step away from the sharp, geometric lines I usually work with and let the shapes breathe more, like smoke drifting across a winter sky.

At the center, the deer felt right - calm, strong, and timeless. It has that quiet presence you feel on a snowy December night, when the world slows down and everything seems touched by a little bit of magic. The trees, the hills, the glowing golden moon… they’re not meant to be realistic, but more like memories. Almost like a scene from a vintage Christmas card or an old film poster, where atmosphere matters more than detail.

For me, this design is about exploring a softer side of Art Deco. The retro silhouettes and golden tones are still there, but this time they lean into mood and stillness - the kind of stillness that belongs to winter nights and Christmas evenings.

If you love that mix of mystery, elegance, and a touch of holiday spirit, this piece might feel like home on your wall.
