Some stories deserve a cover that feels as timeless as the words inside. The Great Gatsby is one of those rare novels - a tale of ambition, desire, and the glittering fragility of the American dream.

For this design, I wanted to capture not just the book, but the atmosphere of the roaring twenties. Bold silhouettes set against a golden skyline bring the Jazz Age back to life, while the geometry of Art Deco frames the scene with elegance and precision. The glowing black-and-gold palette whispers of champagne, late-night parties, and the mystery at the heart of Gatsby himself.

To me, a great book cover should be more than decoration. It should be an invitation - a way of stepping into the world of the story before even turning the first page. With Gatsby, that world is all about contrasts: wealth and emptiness, beauty and illusion, celebration and longing.

This modern Art Deco cover is my attempt to honor that duality - to give Fitzgerald’s masterpiece a visual companion that feels both classic and fresh.
