Art Deco Poster for Cannes Film Festival Event By Lasse Voss

Cannes Film Festival

I made this poster for a Private Cannes Film Festival Event, and my goal was simple: capture that mix of glamour, mystery, and golden light that the place gives off.

The colors came from thinking about the Riviera at sunset - that hazy moment when everything feels cinematic on its own. The silhouette adds a bit of intrigue, and the car is my little nod to the kind of old-school elegance you still feel around Cannes.

What I love about Art Deco is how it never really ages. The geometry, the rhythm, the way light cuts across shapes - it’s as fresh now as it was a hundred years ago. Cannes felt like the right stage for that balance of old and new.

For me, this piece isn’t just a poster. It’s about celebrating film, design, and that atmosphere where style and storytelling meet.
